Group Hike on the South Fraser Witness Trail!

Tony Hoar knows bicycling from every point of view: Tour de France veteran, engineer and respected builder of bicycles and trailers, present-day Master's-level competitor, and well-known British Columbia cycling events coordinator and bicycling advocate.

We spent 12 hours in Vancouver, some of it on the streets and on transit. Using WGWT I was able to engage with people, learn about work, career, hopes and aspiraitons.

A bus driver said , that this new job is more enjoable because she's make a conscious effort to have fun.As I watched her in action, she did that, and showed kindness and humour to her riders.

I've always had a guilty conscience about the fact that I drive to work. I've always had the excuse of picking my daughter up from daycare as my crutch for why I don't take the bus that stops a couple blocks from my house and drops me off a 10 minute walk from work TO WORK. But my daycare situation has changed and I don't have to rush to pick the kids up from daycare so I CAN take transit.

It's been a while since I've touched bases with the ChangeEverything community, but I realized today that what I've been busy with is exactly what this community is for, and I feel silly for not coming back here earlier.

For me, having a car is about independence and safety.
