I've sold my place in Vancouver and am a few months from moving full-time to Britannia Beach. My partner's home is not big enough for a family of 4, so we need a "new" home for his land. And we want to make the smallest footprint possible.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:
This house is a true gem, in an unbeatable location. It is 3 bdrm house 1/2 block from Trout Lake, 1 block from Commercial Drive, 4 blocks from Broadway skytrain.
It has a big kitchen with dining area, a large living room, a yard, laundry and good storage space.  We'll have a great organic garden in the backyard and we're SO close to the farmers markets at Trout Lake.
The whole place was freshly renovated about a year and a half ago, and is clean, fresh and full of light.
We just moved into the house April 1st, so we're still in the process of making it home.  We're really excited about it.  It's an excellent space.

ABOUT US:
You would be living with 2 women, 32,34 y.o.  Both love to cook healthy, yummy, organic almost 100% vegetarian food.  I am a long time Commercial Drive resident, who has spent much of the last year in Nicaragua. I do contract work for environmental organizations in marine conservation.  I work from home 1 or 2 days a week depending on what I'm working on. I do a lot of outdoor sports (snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, rockclimbing, hiking, etc), play the guitar and do yoga.  I love having friends over for dinner, a cuppa tea or for a movie.
Robin is a 34 year old ESL instructor and Counselling student.  She gardens, cycles, reads, does yoga, dances, and cooks.  She's also done some work for environmental organizations and is our chief gardener!  She's fun, clean and a great roomate because likes to share her baking and gourmet soups.
We like to use all-natural cleaning products in the house and keep everything as natural, comfortable and simple as possible.
A peaceful, warm, positive, sharing, clean, natural environment to live in is important to both of us.
Rent is $575 plus utilities.
If you're interested, please send an email with the following info:
-         What you do for work and play
- Age
- Whether you can provide us with a previous landlord reference
- Eating/cooking habits
- Any other lifestyle information that you think we should know
-         - if you have a pet and what he/she/they are like.

Sorry, no couples or cigarette smokers please!
Thanks!
Jodi

I'm trying to get down to one small garbage bag a week, plus recycling.
