So our next Foot Clinic is on Dec. 6th, and this time we are hoping to top our 300 pairs of shoes we gave out, so if you got some footware kicking around, and is gently used, I'll take them!

My Rotary Club (Vancouver Quadra) has partnered with the Salvation Army and the BC Association of Podiatrists to run a foot clinic on the downtown eastside. The clinic takes gently used running shoes, refurbishes them, and then distributes them to people who need them. As well, a podiatrist is on hand to provide health services as needed. I participate because feet are important for health but often overlooked, especially by those with more pressing concerns.
