Easter Dinner Downtown East Side

For the last two years, with the help of kind donations, a group of us served Christmas dinner to residents of the downtown eastside using a film industry craft service. This year, we were able to serve turkey with all the fixings to over 340 residents.

Because of both overwhelming support and need for these kind of services, we will be serving dinner again this Easter. This event is not just about filling a need but about creating a festive atmosphere and a sense of community.

Despite services already available, there is still a need for wholesome, easily-accessible meals not just at Christmas, but year round. My goal is to organize a small group of committed people who are interested in making this a quarter-annual event and growing new opportunities in which to serve our communities.
